✨ Ask Klynto, Dark Mode & Product Variants

One AI agent across the whole workspace, a full dark theme, product variants and packs, barcode-ready billing, and a dashboard that shapes itself around your business type.

Affects:

platformordersproductsbillingwebsite

Since our last release we've shipped 110+ changes across the platform. This one is about Klynto knowing your business — the AI agent, the dashboard, the point of sale, and now the setup checklist all adapt to how you actually operate.

🤖 Ask Klynto — one agent for the whole workspace

Klynto's AI is no longer a separate assistant page. It lives beside your work, and it knows which module you're in.

  • Ask a question on any module page and get an answer with real charts, KPI tiles and data tables — not just text
  • An order copilot sits inside the order sheet, proposing actions you confirm or undo
  • Add products by describing them, pasting a list, or uploading a CSV — with AI-written descriptions
  • Voice input on both composers, and answers that stream as they're written

🌗 System-aware dark mode

A full dark theme across the dashboard, the point of sale, the AI panel and the auth screens. It follows your operating system by default, and you can pin it to light or dark in settings.

🎨 Product variants, options, units & packs

Products can now carry the shape your catalogue actually has.

  • Define options (size, flavour, packaging) and the variants they produce, then pick a variant on any order or bill line
  • Variant values are entered as chips, so a long option list stays readable
  • Units are classified by dimension, and quantities can be entered by package rather than by piece
  • Categories take an emoji, and product rows carry a trade-specific icon and coloured category chip

🧾 Point of sale & billing

  • Barcode scanning in POS search and on the New Bill screen
  • Quick Bill checkout inline, without leaving the cart
  • New Bill adapts to your business type — retail and service workspaces get different flows
  • Bill discounts are clamped, the cart works on a tablet, and quantities and totals animate as they change
  • Nepali Rupee now renders as Rs everywhere, rather than the ISO code

📋 One data grid, everywhere

Core modules and custom tables now share a single grid. Show and hide columns, resize them on mobile, edit per-column inline, and delete rows or selections reliably — the same way on every page.

⚡ Quick-create on every picker

Every entity selector — customer, supplier, product, unit — can create the record you're missing without losing your place. The panel expands in-line instead of swapping the picker out.

🧭 A workspace shaped around how you sell

Klynto now reads your business type and adapts what it shows you:

  • The dashboard picks its KPI cards and quick actions to suit a cafe, a shop, an online store or a service business
  • Getting started shows only the steps that apply — a retail workspace is no longer asked to set up dining tables and menus
  • Every setup step now clears from real data, so the checklist reflects what you have actually configured

✨ Elsewhere

  • A global command palette, reachable from anywhere
  • Media library in settings, with a preview modal
  • Contact and support tickets with a rich-text composer
  • Spaces flip to reveal their QR code
  • Purchases get a full-view page and goods receipts on the PO sheet
  • Orders board with a date-range filter
  • Errors now show what the server actually said, instead of a generic “Failed to create”
  • Rebuilt marketing site: 14 pages, a customers page, and this changelog as an editorial timeline

Upgrade notes

No action required. Everything here is backwards-compatible and already live. Dark mode follows your system setting until you choose otherwise, and the getting started checklist re-evaluates itself against your existing data.
